Bangladesh Approves Export of 3,000 MT Hilsa to India for Durga Puja

The Bangladesh government has granted approval for the export of 3,000 metric tons of Hilsa fish to India in celebration of the upcoming Durga Puja, according to a statement from the Ministry of Commerce. Interested exporters have been instructed to contact the Export Wing-2 (Deputy Secretary) of the ministry, located in Room 127, Building 3, to secure the necessary export permissions by 12 noon on September 24. The ministry emphasized that no new applications will be accepted after this deadline, and those who have previously applied do not need to reapply.
