UAE Grants Amnesty to 57 Bangladeshi Convicts

On Tuesday, Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus announced that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has granted amnesty to all 57 Bangladeshis who were previously convicted by the UAE Federal Court. His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, extended this pardon, as confirmed by Yunus during a meeting with editors.

Shafiqul Alam, Press Secretary to the Chief Adviser, further confirmed that the pardoned individuals are expected to be deported to Bangladesh in the near future.
