CR Abrar, a retired professor of international relations at Dhaka University and the head of Refugee and Migratory Movements Research Unit (RMMRU), has been appointed as the education adviser in the interim government.
President Mohammed Shahabuddin led the oath-taking ceremony at Bangabhaban on Wednesday at 11:00 am. Cabinet Secretary Sheikh Abdur Rashid conducted the event.
Abrar replaces Wahiduddin Mahmud, who was in charge of both education and planning ministries. From now on, Mahmud will continue as the adviser for the planning ministry only.
