The Department of Immigration and Passports has revoked the passports of 97 individuals, including ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, citing their alleged involvement in enforced disappearances and the July killings.

“Passports of 22 individuals linked to enforced disappearances and 75 others, including Sheikh Hasina, connected to the July killings, have been cancelled,” Chief Adviser’s Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder announced during a press briefing.
